Fruit selection is based on availability.  This stunning assortment arranged in a woven basket with cellophane wrapping and colorful ribbon may include: Asian Pear, Baby Pineapple, Blood Orange, Cherimoya, Feijoas, Kiwis, Kumquats, Lychees, Mango, Papaya, Passion Fruit, Persimmons, Pomegranate, Rambutans, Specialty Bananas, Starfruit and Tamarillos.

Sending Wine as a Gift: You may purchase wine as a gift as long as you and the intended recipient are both 21 years of age or older. The signature of an adult 21 years of age or older is required at delivery.   Wine also cannot be delivered to AL, CO, GA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MS, NY, OH, OK, SD, TX, UT, VT. 

Hawaii prohibits the shipment of any pineapple into their state.

Alea Hawaiian Cocktail --the perfect tropical cocktail to beat the heat so you can chill out and take a sip of paradise!

Chill out and take yourself to paradise by sipping the delicious Alea Hawaiian Cocktail. This super yummy gin based drink, garnished with dragon fruit and mint from Melissa’s Produce will have you enjoying a bit of paradise in no time. This is the perfect drink to sup on these hot summer nights! So who wants one? 😉

Cocktail Yield; 1 8 oz glass Prep Time: 3 min
Total Time: 3 min

Ingredients:

1 oz Purple Violet Liqueur

1 oz Wild Berry Liqueur
1 oz Gin
3 oz Grape Juice

2 oz Sprite
1 tsp. Simple syrup

Dragon fruit and mint as garnish

Directions:
Fill your glass with ice.
In a bar shaker, add the berry liqueur, gin, grape juice and simple syrup. Shake to combine it all up.
Add the sprite on top of the berry liquor mixture.
Top with Violet liqueur.
Garnish and enjoy.

Did you know? Its National Watermelon Day today, August 3rd. That sweet, juicy summer treat is known to have began cultivation in the Nile Valley as early as the second millennium B.C. Watermelon seeds were even found in King Tut’s tomb! What better way to celebrate this ancient berry in a feast of juicy deliciousness on National Watermelon day than with a refreshing Watermelon Margarita!

Fun Facts About Watermelon

  • Watermelon is 92% water.
  • In the early days, watermelons were used as canteens.
  • The word “watermelon” first appeared in the English dictionary in 1615.
  • Watermelons take about 90 days to grow, from planting to harvesting.
  • You can eat watermelon rind. Pickled watermelon rind is so good!
  • The world’s heaviest watermelon was grown by Chris Kent of Sevierville, Tennessee in 2013, weighing in at 350.5 pounds!!
  • There are more than 300 varieties of watermelon are cultivated in the United States and South America.

Watermelon Margarita Yield: 1 8 oz glass Prep Time: 3 min Total Time: 3 min

Ingredients:
2 cups Fresh seedless watermelon, skin removed 2 oz cup Tequila
1 oz Triple sec
1⁄2 oz cup Fresh lime juice
2 oz Margarita mixture
1 tsp Honey
1 cup Ice
Tajin seasoning for rim
Limes for garnish

Directions:
Add watermelon, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, margarita mix, and honey to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
Strain Into a pitcher, removing pulp.
Pour the mixture into a Tajin rim glass and serve with lime.
