Come Enjoy California With A Coastal Wine Package At Cambria’s Blue Dolphin Inn and the Wine Wrangler!
By Erin
Disclosure: I was invited out to come stay at the Blue Dolphin in and go on a Wine Wrangler experience for purposes of this review. All thoughts and opinions remain my own and I have always had a love for the Central Coast in California! =)
One of my most favorite places to travel to in California is to the Central Coast, and Cambria is one of the things to love about the Central Coast. Cambria, CA is a quaint little beach town along the Central Coast where The Blue Dolphin Inn is located. Cambria is just 28 miles from Paso Robles, one of California’s most popular wine regions with more than 250 bonded wineries. The Blue Dolphin Inn has partnered up with The Wine Wrangler and is now offering a new “Coastal Wine Package” for those who want to enjoy crush season and some much needed coastal R&R!
The perfect travel destination for a romantic weekend with someone special, a girls getaway weekend, or a fabulous stopover point on a drive up or down the California coast, the Blue Dolphin Inn features the most luxurious accommodations that you will find on Moonstone Beach.
This adults-only (guest have to be +18 plus to stay here), pet friendly retreat is just steps away from the sand and features 20 rooms designed with rich beachy colors and all of the the comforts of home. The beds are very comfy and it is very easy to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean right outside. Waking up to the sound of the ocean waves rolling right outside the window is a special treat. You can see some of the amazing views we caught from inside our room here.
Then start your day off with a complimentary warm breakfast served right to your room, which you can enjoy in your room while sitting and watching the waves crash ashore or you can take it outside and have a nice picnic breakfast out on the patio or on the beach. The breakfast is packed just right for you to carry outside to have a picnic with. When you check in, you will be able to choose what breakfast options you would like to have each morning of your stay. This is my selection on the first morning of our stay. I had the breakfast wrap with fresh fruit and pastries. It was a wonderful way to start the morning!
Take a stroll on the seaside boardwalk that runs two miles along the coast and savor the sunset with a glass of renowned local wine. You never know who you’ll meet out here, everyone is so friendly, including the little critters such as below who will cross your path. When you get back, sit back and relax in the lobby with some tea, coffee or water. Blue Dolphin Inn is a great place to relax, refresh, reconnect, and unplug from the crazy going ons of the world.
We made a new friend while we were out wandering on the boardwalk.
Right inside the lobby. It is a very warm and welcoming place to be!
Each comfortable guest room at the Blue Dolphin Inn features either a king bed or two queen beds and a cozy fireplace. Most rooms offer spectacular full or partial ocean views. Amenities include complimentary WiFi (any blogger or social media nerd’s top priority right? lol), a Keurig Coffee System, flat screen TV, makeup mirrors with lighting, some super soft and luxurious bathrobes and slippers, an awesome Tivoli radio with iPod adaptor, coffee and tea in the lobby available for you, fresh cookies delivered daily to the room in the afternoon/early evening, complimentary newspaper brought to you with your breakfast, evening bedside chocolates, microwave ovens and refrigerators. I truly enjoyed my stay here and cannot WAIT to come back here! I wish we could have stayed longer as it was so peaceful and relaxing. For more info you can visit the Blue Dolphin Inn here.
Blue Dolphin Inn is located in San Luis Obispo County and provides access to the area’s most popular attractions including Hearst Castle, Big Sur, the elephant seals at Piedras Blancas, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, Paso Robles, Nitt Witt Ridge, whale watching, wine tasting, horseback riding, the Monarch Butterfly Grove, hiking, and so much more.

My hubby and I adore the blue dolphin inn. We stayed there on our first road trip along the west coast in 2004. Three years later we revisited and stayed for a week to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. This place is very close to our hearts. The scenery is beyond words, and the hospitality is perfect. We cannot wait to return!!
This looks like a beautiful place for a getaway, can’t wait to hear about the wine adventure.
