Jack Skellington Cupcakes make for some fun Halloween treats!

Jack Skellington Face
1 – 8oz white fondant
1 black edible marker with fine tip
Directions
Pinch off 2 tbsp of the white fondant and roll into a ball Place onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper Allow to dry overnight
Using the black marker, draw on Jack’s face
Allow to dry while you make the cupcakes.
Moss Cookie Ingredients and Directions
1 tube of refrigerated sugar cookie dough Moss green gel food coloring
1 container of white frosting
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper
Place the refrigerated dough into a large bowl and mix in about 1 tsp of the moss green gel food coloring into the dough
Scoop about 1 tbsp of the dough onto the cookie sheet
Use a butter knife and press the dough into irregular shapes
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies have a lightly brown edge Allow to cool completely
Pick out 12 smaller size cookies and set aside. These will be placed on the cupcakes Crumble the remaining cookies into a bowl
Using the frosting container, mix in about 1 tsp of the moss green gel food coloring into the frosting.
Carefully spread a thin layer of the frosting onto the cookie you set aside Sprinkle the crumbled cookie on top and set aside.
Chocolate Cupcakes
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 1⁄4 Cup milk
3 large eggs
1⁄2 Cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened Halloween liners
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and beat until combined
Fill liners 3⁄4 full and bake in the oven for 22 minutes
Remove and allow to cool completely.
Vanilla Frosting
1 Cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened 3 C powdered sugar
3 – 5 tbsp heavy whipping cream
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 large piping bag with star tip 1 – 8oz bag of pumpkin candy
Directions
Using a standing mixer, beat the butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, vanilla until combined and fluffy
Beat in a few drops of of the moss green gel food coloring and beat until combined Scoop the frosting into the piping bag
Decorating the cupcakes
Pipe a ring of frosting around the top of the cupcake Carefully dip the cupcake into the crumble cookie.
Pipe a small dollop of frosting into the center of the cupcake Carefully place the moss cookie onto the frosting dollop. Pipe small dollops of frosting onto the top of the cookie Place the jack fondant and pumpkin candy on the frosting.
