A book ALL about Disney Princesses? YES please! Disney Princess: Beyond the Tiara explores the legacies of the Princesses and what they represent today. Featuring concept art, memorabilia, and original interviews, Publishing September 20th, 2022. I wanted this one for myself…. but my niece (Princess Elsa) had other ideas. She wanted it and was naming all the princesses in the book to me. She knows them ALL already… and she’s only 3! Now I need to buy another copy of the book for myself.

Everyone knows the Disney Princess characters, but how did they become the cultural icons we know today? From the Princesses Walt Disney and his artists brought to the screen in the 20th century, such as Snow White and Aurora, to the recent additions such as Moana, Tiana and Rapunzel, each Disney Princess character’s influence has expanded beyond their original film. Each of their unique, individual stories create a fabric with the power to inspire our imaginations, spark social conversations, and empower us. I loved learning more about the princesses and their background, cool facts and information about all of our favorite princesses.

Explore the different eras, influences, and legacies of the Princesses with Disney Legends such as Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid and author of the book’s foreword), Lea Salonga (the singing voice behind two Princesses, Jasmine and Mulan), and composer Alan Menken.

Film Synopsis

Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – one of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Directed by Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok,” “Jojo Rabbit”), from a screenplay by Waititi & Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Thor: Love and Thunder was produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.

D23 Expo—The Ultimate Disney Fan Event—brings together all the worlds of Disney under one roof for three packed days of presentations, pavilions, experiences, concerts, sneak peeks, shopping, and more. The event provides fans with unprecedented access to Disney films, streaming, television, games, theme parks, and celebrities. For the latest D23 Expo 2022 news, visit D23Expo.com. Here are some fun facts about D23 Expo:

  • This event marks the seventh D23 Expo. Previous events took place in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019.
  • Guests are arriving from all 50 states and 43 countries.
  • Throughout the Ultimate Disney Fan Event, more than 500 performers and presenters will take to the stage during can’t-miss panels and presentations.
  • More than 165 presentations, panels, concerts, demonstrations, meet-and-greets, and sneak peeks will take place during the Expo.
  • Disney fans at home can enjoy more than 26 hours of livestream content from D23 Expo [LIVE], including more than 10 hours of exclusive [LIVE] Stage programming and 16 hours of other major presentations from the event.
  • Overall, D23 Expo 2022 takes up over 1,000,000 square feet of the Anaheim Convention Center, including exhibit halls, stage venues, back-of-house operations, and queue space.
  • Including this year’s honorees, there are 304 Disney Legends. The first Disney Legend inducted was Fred MacMurray in 1987.
  • A wide variety of new products curated for the ultimate Disney fan will make their debut at the D23 Expo in the new D23 Expo Marketplace,– Third Floor Limited Edition Annex, Mickey’s of Glendale Main Store, Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store, Disney’s Publishing, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and Disney Music Emporium.
