Picnicking with Good Boy Organics & Giveaway!

Picnicking with Good Boy Organics!

By Erin

You have probably noticed by now that I love to have picnics and tea parties and anything else that will get me outdoors. Well, I found a product here when I attended Expo West back in March that is just PERFECT for a nice spring or summer picnic! It is called Good Boy Organics!

Good Boy Organics

Good Boy Organics has two products that I reviewed.  BOPS (Baked Organic Potato Snack) pictured here in four different flavors and the Organicasaurus. All of their products are USDA certified organic, certified gluten-free,  have no preservatives, no trans fat, and are baked, not fried. The BOPS also have 65% less fat in them than regular potato chips! These chips are a reduced fat alternative to fried potato chips. I am also in love with the packaging. The packaging for the BOPS makes me want to have a picnic every time I look at it! Good Boy Organics focus is on Certified Organic products for the entire family. Look for them at your local grocer!

Celebrating My Blogoversary Week with the Ultimate Blog Party!! #UBP13

Celebrating My Blogoversary Week with the Ultimate Blog Party!! #UBP13

Ultimate Blog Party 2013

Until the other day, I had never heard of the Ultimate Blog Party, or #UBP13 When I started seeing it here and there across twitter and facebook, I didn’t think much of it. I thought, Oh I don’t have time for that as I have so much going on already. I think I saw that hashtag one too many times because here I am writing up my own party post! LOL I thought it would be appropriate, to participate and be part of the party seeing that on April 10th, my blog will be having its 1st birthday or “blogoversary” as I’ve learned it’s called. So why not take part in a week-long party to celebrate this?

I’m not entirely sure what it all entails or what I’m getting my self into with this, but why not?

I’m hoping this will introduce me to other bloggers and new friends, so  if this is your first time stopping by, welcome!!! I am so glad you stopped by. If you have been here before, well then I’m glad you came back to visit me again. That makes me happy too. 🙂

My name is Erin and I’m a California girl, born and raised who has always had a love for horses, hence how the word “Horse” made it into my blog name. 😉 I adore horses and I love to travel all around LA, the OC, and Southern California finding fun things to get into and involved with. Tada! Put those two together and you have what has become “Horsing Around In LA”

I tend to blog about my adventures around LA and anywhere else life takes me, horses, photography, anything involving Disney, causes that are near and dear to my heart,  as well as product reviews and giveaways from time to time, and anything else that my heart desires. I’ll stop now and just leave you with a few photos that should sum up a little bit about me and things I love.

Lets rock this party and roll on out!

It’s springtime! When I think of spring, I think of garden tea parties, sitting out in the backyard with the roses in full bloom, sipping some delicious Bigelow Tea with some good friends.  When I think of tea parties, scenes from Alice in Wonderland, elegant Victorian decor and ladies with their pinky fingers stuck up in the air come to mind.  I have some very old, yet amazingly beautiful tea cups and tea pots that I’ve just been itching to use to have a tea party with as they’ve just been sitting around in the china cabinet, collecting dust for quite a while now. These cups and pots hold a lot of family history as I imagine they have been through many tea parties before. Some of them can even be traced back to 1910 when my great-great grandmother Carlson owned them. As spring has been approaching us, I’ve been getting more and more excited to finally host a tea party with these beauties! I gathered up a few friends who I know enjoy tea and tea parties as much as I do, and we started to plan our afternoon tea party to celebrate spring with Bigelow Tea! This led to a trip to Wal-Mart to go buy some of my favorite tea, Bigelow Tea, as well as some other much needed items, which you can see the full shopping trip here, in my Google+ Album!
