We celebrated the release of  The Secret Life of Pets 2 on Blu-Ray & in honor of its release, we made some fun hats, & created doggy donuts inspired by the movie for our favorite pups from the special gift basket we received! We made some cute pet themed hats to wear with our pets during the movie. So easy to make too and a fun way to celebrate!

Picking up where A Dog’s Purpose left off, A Dog’s Journey,  is now available on Digital, Blu-rayTM, DVD and On Demand! The tale of the lovable farm dog Bailey continues, as he finds a new destiny and forms an unbreakable bond, and learns that some friendships transcend lifetimes. A hit with audiences, who rated it an “A” CinemaScore, the movie is “a must-see for any dog lover” (Chuck Yarborough, The Plain Dealer)! A Dog’s Journey features over 30 minutes of bonus content including deleted and extended scenes, a hilarious gag reel and featurettes with the cast and a behind the scenes look at the memorable animal performances.

Bailey (voiced again by Josh Gad; Beauty and the Beast, Frozen) is living the good life on the Michigan farm of his former “boy” now grown to manhood, Ethan (Dennis Quaid; A Dog’s Purpose, I Can Only Imagine) and Ethan’s wife Hannah (Marg Helgenberger; “C.S.I.,” “Under the Dome”). He even has a new playmate: Ethan and Hannah’s baby granddaughter, CJ (Kathryn Prescott; “24: Legacy”). Everything is great on the farm until CJ’s mom, Gloria (Betty Gilpin, Isn’t It Romantic, “GLOW”), decides to take CJ away and chase her own fulfillment in the big city. Ethan asks Bailey to watch over CJ wherever she goes and thus begins Bailey’s adventure through multiple lives filled with love, friendship and devotion as he, CJ, and CJ’s best friend Trent (Henry Lau; Internationally famous pop star) experience joy and heartbreak, music and laughter, and few really good belly rubs.

Directed by Emmy winner Gail Mancuso (“Modern Family”), A Dog’s Journey is produced by Gavin Polone (A Dog’s Purpose), and written by W. Bruce Cameron & Cathryn Michon, and Maya Forbes & Wally Wolodarsky, based on the best-selling novel by Cameron.

UglyDolls Now on Blu-Ray and DVD!

*We were given a fun Ugly Dolls box of goodies for purposes of this post. All thoughts and opinions remain our own!*

The other week we received a UglyDolls party kit to host a movie night over the weekend. So many fun things were included to make it even more special. There  was even a certificate of adoption to seal the deal that the UglyDolls were our own to love and care for now. To celebrate our new family members, we ate kettle popcorn with M&M’s and other candy while watching the movie and playing with the UglyDolls. Their uniqueness is what makes them so darn cute and loveable. You can easily host a party of your own! Just get your favorite movie snacks grab the family and enjoy (and adopt an UglyDoll of own to make it even more special ;))!

Remember PEZ? Yep! They have UglyDolls PEZ! Perfect for movie night!

I didn’t know what my niece would think of the UglyDolls since she is still so young (7 months) but she absolutely loved them! She gave Moxy a BIG hug and kiss right away. It was A-DOR-ABLE.

The Sing-Along edition was so fun. If you have this Moxy UglyDoll it even comes with a microphone and your kids could use that to sing along with the movie and all their other UglyDoll friends!
