Mickey’s Cinnamon Roll S’mores Bake

Mickey’s Cinnamon Roll S’mores Bake

It’s National S’mores Day! To celebrate I made a magically delicious S’mores Bake that you can easily make at home to enjoy too! Did you know that S’more is a contraction of the phrase “some more”? S’mores appeared in a cookbook in the early 1920s, where it was called a “Graham Cracker Sandwich”. It was a treat that was already popular with both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. We honor the most commonly packed camping snack by celebrating National S’mores Day on August 10th. Summertime is finally here and with it comes camping and gathering around the campfire in the great outdoors. S’mores have us salivating in anticipation of smashing those tasty toasted marshmallows with a slab of chocolate between two graham crackers. Try this fun and magical twist on an old favorite tonight! Now, who’s ready for some S’mores??!!

2 Cups Marshmallows
1 Tbsp heavy whipping cream.
1 bag of Hershey Smores baking mix

Directions:

Using the melted chocolate, scoop the chocolate into the disposable piping bag

Using a cookie sheet, line it with wax paper

Cut the tip off the piping bag and create mickey mouse shapes by piping 1 small circle and 2 tiny circles on the corner for the ears

Create as many as you want in different sizes, place in the freezer to harden Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare a 9 inch pie dish with nonstick baking spray.
Lay each of the 5 individual rolls out of a cutting board.

Cut each individual roll in half and then cut each half into thirds.
Place the cut pieces evenly in the prepared pie dish.
Sprinkle half of the s’mores mix over the cinnamon rolls
Add melted butter and light brown sugar to a small pot over medium heat, stirring to mix. Pour the melted butter and light brown sugar mixture over the covered cinnamon rolls. Top with half of the marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees for 28-33 minutes. (Or until the center is completely cooked.)

Once baked, remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle the rest of the marshmallows on top of the s’mores bake.
Remove mickey chocolate shapes from freezer and carefully peel 1 by 1 off the wax paper.

Place on the cinnamon roll dish.
Using the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls, drizzle all over before enjoying!
